My recent experience with the iGENEA DNA test was quite enlightening. It provided a new depth to the understanding of my heritage, not just on a genetic level, but also in relation both to the historical landscape and to the people who share my surname, Breunig.
The test was impressively comprehensive. It analyzed my Y-DNA, Mt-DNA and Autosomal DNA, thus providing a well-rounded view of my ancestral lineage on my father's line, mother's line and combined heritage respectively. This added greatly to my comprehension of my genetics and lineage.
